Mysore/Mysuru: The Rotary Ivory City Mysore (RICM) was honoured with ‘Diamond Plus’ award, which is the highest award given to a Rotary Club, for its overall performance.
Rotary District Governor Rtn. Vikram Datta presented the award to Rtn. K. Shashidhar, President of RICM, at Mangaluru recently.
Besides Diamond Plus, RICM was also awarded another six awards: Adaptability Excellence Award for standing at the first place among the Medium Club category, Significant Service Award, Excellence in Public Image Award, Unsung Rotary Action Champion Award (awarded to Rtn. Jyothi Mukesh), Avenues of Service Award (awarded to Rtn. Balachander) and Interact Club Awards (awarded to ACME School, People’s Park Government School, Government High School Madapura and Karnataka Public School).
Rtn. M. Ranganath Bhat, Past District Governor, complimented the untiring efforts of RICM in community service at the installation ceremony of Rtn. Keshava Kanchan as Club President.
