Mysuru: Janapada Kalavidara Okkuta, Mysuru Division, has organised the State-level ‘Janapada Kala Ratna’ Award presentation ceremony at Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises in city on Feb. 20 at 10 am.

International folk artiste, theatre artiste and director N. Ankaraju from Chamarajanagar, who has been serving folk and theatre fields for the past 10 years, has been selected for the Award.

He had also taken part in the International folk dance competition. Ankaraju is working as an Assistant Librarian, Department of Library and Information Centre, GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College (GSSS SSFGC), Mysuru.

Maddikere Gopal, President, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru district, Gangadhar, State President, Akhila Karnataka Vokkaligara Sangha and Dr. S. Basavarajappa will present the award on Feb. 20, according to a press release.
