K. Mahadev (67), a retired non-teaching faculty of Maharani’s College and a resident of Gandhinagar in city, passed away here on Monday. He leaves behind his wife, four children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Gandhinagar Burial Grounds the same day.

Srirangapatna: Gurikar Channappa (60), Secretary of Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Mahasabha, Srirangapatna Taluk, passed away last night. He leaves behind his wife, two children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Chinnenahalli in the taluk today.

Dr. Govindegowda (94), retired Medical Officer of Jayanagar Health Centre and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away yesterday. He had served as the Medical Officer at Saraswathipuram and Jayanagar Government Health Centres before retiring from service. His body was donated to JSS Medical College, according to his son A.G. Devaraj.

Mallappa (85), former Chairman of Kodanahalli, Varuna hobli in the taluk, passed away yesterday evening. He had also served as the President of Mysuru Taluk Ashraya Samithi. He leaves behind one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Kodanahalli his afternoon.

He leaves behind his wife Clara (retired teacher), two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Basilica in Dornahalli today followed by burial at Dornahalli burial ground.

Rev. Sr. Thomasene, former Principal of Teresian College, Mysuru, passed away last night. Funeral Mass will be held in Teresian Convent, Mysuru, today (Dec. 25) at 4.30 pm.
