Nanjangud: One person was killed and two others were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in, allegedly hit the compound of a housing complex near Sapthagiri Petrol Bunk on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road this morning.

The deceased is identified as Manikanta (27) of Nanjangud. The injured Abhishek and Darshan also from Nanjangud were admitted to hospital.

In another accident, one person died and four others were injured when the car they were travelling in from T. Narasipur to Nanjangud taluk allegedly rammed into a tree near Geekallihundi village in Nanjangud Taluk, this morning.

The deceased is identified as Sanjay (23) of Sargur Taluk. The four injured were admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru.
