Mysuru: Devaraja Police, who found a body of an unidentified man near the South Gate of Mysore Palace on Tuesday, have registered a case.
The deceased is said to be a rag picker. Public, who saw the rag picker still sleeping tried to wake him up, found him dead and informed the Police.
Jurisdictional Devaraja Police, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary besides registering a case.

The Mysuru Railway Police on May 29 have found a body of an unidentified man, who was run over by a train between Ashokapuram and Kadakola Railway Stations and have shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary.
The deceased is aged between 45 and 50 years, 5.5 ft. tall, well built, oval faced, sports white beard and moustache, has the name ‘Likitha Muthu’ tattooed on his left hand and was wearing a purple-coloured stripes half arm shirt, white pants, grey shorts and Timex wrist watch.
