Mysore/Mysuru: A 22-year-old woman, said to be depressed in life, committed suicide by hanging self at her house in Raghavendranagar here on Sunday night.

The deceased is Arpitha, wife of Jagadish. She had married Jagadish three years ago and her family life was going on smoothly until differences in opinions among the couple cropped up leading to frequent fights between them.

Though family elders intervened and advised them, the couple continued fighting for trivial issues.

Depressed over this, Arpitha is said to have taken the extreme step, according to Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case.
