Mysore/Mysuru: A youth, said to be drunk, who was behaving indecently and teasing women in a city bus, was dragged from the bus and beaten black and blue by a group of women, who were travelling in the bus. The incident took place near PKTB Sanatorium on KRS Road here on Tuesday.

The youth, who boarded the KRS bus at City Bus Stand, began to behave indecently with the women when the bus reached Dasappa Circle and also began to speak lightly on great personalities of the country.

Fed up with the youth’s behaviour, a group of women travelling in the bus caught hold of the youth when the bus stopped near PKTB Sanatorium, dragged him out and beat him black and blue. Other passengers too got down from the bus and beat the youth, the video of which has gone viral on social media. But the youth managed to escape from the spot.

As no complaint was lodged, jurisdictional V.V. Puram Police, based on the video, visited the spot near PKTB Sanatorium yesterday evening and enquired with shop owners but could not get any information about it.
