The mothballed Gandhi and other leaders come out on few occasions to showcase the corrupt politicians and their chamchas. The Central government should ban such vulgar displays of power and corruption.

  2. Rajiv Pillai says:

When we pay respects to Gandhi, we should also remember he was just a human being and not always fair! His stand on Hindu genocide was purely political. He could be alse called the father of appeasement politics

  4. Rajiv Pillai! says:

Bhosudeeke!! Just tell me whether there was a Mass genocide of Hindus in Kerala and what were Gandhi’s views, you BSTRD S.O. B! burying your head in sand and thinking you know everything does not help! Does not matter where I am a Cheddi or not! Just FYI I am not! Facts or Facts!! My ancestors were the victims! Not some Tippu follower can decide if this happened or not!

  5. Pratap Kurian says:

Please listen to the truth about Gandhi – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-NLup44uh8
Dr Ambedkar was a genuine person who was sidelined by the political opportunists

  6. George says:

Why are these so called Gandhi ‘followers’ so much allergic to truth? it is a contradiction to a man who wanted to be the champion of truth! His soul must be turning in the grave due to these stupid followers! They cant handle the truth so they want to stop it from getting published! Unfortunately this is not the text book era where you could hide the truth by spreading distortions in the text books!

  7. John says:

It is very sad that primitive brained A$%h0les like @citizen can not handle anything beyond the binary . if you criticize Gandhi for any one action you need not be a cheddi! You can be critical to both! Even many of the greatest Gandhi’s disciples at his time disagreed with Gandhi on many of his ideas and Gandhi did not call them a Cheddi! These stupid defenders think they are Gandhi followers! but They are Rahul Gandhi followers and are the disgrace to the society! They can only bring bad name to Gandhi by their idiotic ideas! If Gandhi had thought that some day in future, his reputation will be defended by these morons , he would not have given Godse a chance! He would have snatched the gun and shot himself!

  8. Mysorean of Yore says:

Nothing wrong to have civilised discussions about Mahatma Gandhi, who as a human being had his share of wrongs, follies, weaknesses and failures. After all, even Lord Krishna had these frailties according to scriptures, when he as a human in Mahabharatha.
About the simple life Gandhi led, Sarojini Nadu, when as the President of Indian National Congress said it costs a lot of money to keep him poor!
Money is made talking about Mahatma Gandhi. Publishing books about Mahatma Gandhi is lucrative for authors . The name Gandhi is a name people take as it find it very useful and profitable.. Feroze Ghandy, simply changed letters in his Surname and became Feroze Gandhi , which suited his wife: India Gandhi. It has benefitted her , her children and grand children and even her daughter-in-law who was born in Turin, Italy, where the Italian Mafia has been very active for decades!
I find it cynical for a person who is a Lingayat , hailing from North Karnataka, who migrated to Australia, years go, who had a perfectly appropriate name to indicate his caste, taking the name: ”Gandhi”, when he stood as a candidate in a constituency in a state election in Australia! Even then he lost badly to an opponent, who was also an immigrant to Australia from another country , but who was way ahead of him in his credentials and services to the constituency!

  9. citizen says:

Above comments and language used clearly shows whether you follow Gandhi or chedi after all you are a Mallu -Rajiv , RSS trying hard to influence your state but failed utterly nor you can say such comments in your state you will be slaughtered by communist so basically you migrate to some good state inside country or Gulf countries where you can earn for you bread and butter with your infected brains.

Every person perception is different and differences will arise among all in every aspect it doesn’t mean that he is bad or appeasing others.
We are the lovers of Ghandi, subash chandra Bose, BR Ambedkar, Chandra Shekar Azad, Vallah Bhai patel, Ram prasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, Bhagat Singh.
The world gave and accepted him as a Mahatma, recently Biden preached your Great UNESCO leader also about this. how unfortunate. we are peace lovers of Gandhi, non violence lovers. You are violence lovers. this is the difference, we have progressive mindset, you have destructive mindset.

  10. boregowda says:

Citizen you must have your head stuck in your behind. You are clueless of things going around the country in Gandhi’s name

  11. Sunil says:

@Boregowda – You hit it right on the mail’s head! There is a proverb ‘Konana munde Kindari baarisodu’ . This is the situation here. His knowledge is purely limited to the text books published by Nehru Gandhi regime. If Modi had not won, we would even see how Rahul was needed for this nation. Here was a funny news from that era

  12. Shanky says:

He Ram! Atleast leave him at peace on our currency notes for ever.
@Bore: If some one could do what you suggest – He/She can enter the Limca Bokl or even the Guinness record. and have a performance during Dasara
@R Pillay. Aren’t of us Indians victim of something or the other in the past ? Persian , Mughal Invasion, British, Potuguese…. etc etc. SO WHAT? Can you undo any thing? Advise: You have eyes on your front of your head ( not at the rear). So please be an example of progress TODAY and demonstrate to your present ad future , how to be secure, progressive and bring OUR India up as No 1

    After 7 decades… He Ram\

  13. Rajiv says:

If People can concoct an blatant LIE that RSS killed Gandhi in spite of judicial and congressional investigations and found to be untrue, people can still hit Hindus with this after 7 decades, nobody needs to forget a massacre which killed 26,000 innocent people! This is the double standard we all hate! Whenever you don’t have any truth or logic, you can call others a Godse worshipper! So, even after 7 decades you dont let go of Godse’s ghost yet you want us to forget Genocides! So nice of you!! This is how Gandhi became a Mahatma by forgiving the murderers!

  14. citizen says:

Everybody is BAD, those who speak against current regime and particular ideology is BAD, this is called as Brian wash on WhatsApp university and FB pages like samvada and many more. Nehru is bad, Ghandi is bad, Indira is bad, tippu is bad, Manmohan is bad, Siddu is bad, sonia is bad , Rahul is bad, BR Ambedkar is bad, khaniya is bad , Hardik patel is bad, whole opposition is bad all secular leaders are bad all other are bad other than BJP, all freedom fighter are bad except sarvarkar with his allies and Hindu Maha Sabha leaders who killed gandhi. Happy ! Was there no wars before Mughals, before british, in this “region” then there was no state called as “India” Was there no wars ?

  15. Roopadarshi says:

Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi was his legitimate surname, unlike this Sonia dynasty crowd.
He was a superior soul in any estimation. He would have been horrified to see this country which he liberated is mired deep in a sewage of political, institutional and societal corruption and greediness.

  16. Nikhil says:

Instead of wasting time in trying to understand Gandi in the context of today’s world, to really understand Gandhi, Please watch this without any bias! THis is an eyeopener. PLease do not skip any section! This is Dr Ambedkar;s interview in 1955. You will be very proud of Dr Ambedkar
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJs-BJoSzbo

  17. Krishnan Nair says:

@Nikhil – Thank you for the link! It is very educational and proves that Indians are sentimental fools easily cajoled by propaganda! Truly Ambedkar was noble man ! My respect to him really increased 10 times . Here is another excerpt from the history of Kerala. It looks like Gandhi was so much focused on his image as a Hindu Muslim unifier that a few tens of thousands Hindu lives did not matter to him!
“Their [the Moplahs’] notions of Islam were of a very crude type,” claimed the Mahatma. “Forcible conversions are horrible things,” counselled Gandhi. “But Moplah bravery must command admiration. These Malabaris are not fighting for the love of it. They are fighting for what they consider is their Religion and in the manner, they consider is religious.”
Then came the cruelest of blows – a plea to the Hindus to rationalize the bloodbath by taking recourse in dharma. “Even if one side is firm in doing its dharma,” said Gandhi, “there will be no enmity between the two. He alone may be said to be firm in his dharma who trusts his safety to God and, untroubled by anxiety, follows the path of virtue. If Hindus apply this rule to the Moplah affair, they will not, even when they see the error of the Moplahs, accuse the Muslims.” “I see nothing impossible in asking the Hindus to develop courage and strength to die before accepting forced conversion,” preached the saint.
“I was delighted to be told that there were Hindus who did prefer the Moplah hatchet to forced conversion.” “Even so is, it more necessary for a Hindu to love the Moplah and the Muslim more, when the latter is likely to injure him or has already injured him.” “Why should a single Hindu have run away on account of the Moplahs’ atrocities?”
This was sheer lunacy. The Mahatma was beseeching the Hindus to hold their ground even as they were being hunted down and butchered. One could quote more, much more, of this utterly reprehensible apologia from the Mahatma’s playbook were it not so tormenting. Of little comfort is the fact that the saint continued to hold such views despite condemnation by men like Ambedkar.
Decades later, while preaching to those affected by the pre-partition Hindu-Muslim violence, he said: “Hindus should not harbor any anger in their hearts against Muslims even if the latter wanted to destroy them. Even if the Muslims want to kill us all we should face death bravely. If they established their rule after killing Hindus we would be ushering in a new world by sacrificing our lives. None should fear death. Birth and death are inevitable for every human being. Why should we then rejoice or grieve? If we die with a smile we shall enter into a new life, we shall be ushering in a new India.”
Ambedkar was incensed at Gandhi’s selectivity, more so of his stand on the Moplah Massacre. “Mr Gandhi has never called the Muslims to account even when they have been guilty of gross crimes against Hindus,” said Ambedkar. “Mr Gandhi has never protested against such murders [of prominent Hindus like Swami Shradhanand, Rajpal, Nathuramal Sharma]. Not only have the Muslims not condemned these outrages but even Mr Gandhi has never called upon the leading Muslims to condemn them. He has kept silent over them. Such an attitude can be explained only on the ground that Mr Gandhi was anxious to preserve Hindu-Moslem unity and did not mind the murders of a few Hindus, if it could be achieved by sacrificing their lives.”
Ambedkar next turned to Gandhi’s behavior during the Moplah Massacre, a pogrom he had condemned in the strongest of terms earlier. “This attitude to excuse the Muslims any wrong, lest it should injure the cause of unity, is well illustrated by what Mr Gandhi had to say in the matter of the Moplah riots. The blood-curdling atrocities committed by the Moplahs in Malabar against the Hindus were indescribable. All over Southern India, a wave of horrified feeling had spread among the Hindus of every shade of opinion, which was intensified when certain Khilafat leaders were so misguided as to pass resolutions of ‘congratulations to the Moplahs on the brave fight they were conducting for the sake of religion’. Any person could have said that this was too heavy a price for Hindu-Moslem unity. But Mr Gandhi was so much obsessed by the necessity of establishing Hindu-Moslem unity that he was prepared to make light of the doings of the Moplahs and the Khilafats who were congratulating them. He spoke of the Moplahs as the ‘brave God-fearing Moplahs who were fighting for what they consider as religion and in a manner which they consider as religious’.”

  18. Gautam says:

Mohandas Gandhi , a British -educated lawyer, who practiced in South Africa providing legal services to Indian community settled there=mostly his native people-Gujarathis, when arrived back in India was no exception as most other political leaders at that time were appeasing Muslims-bending over backwards to please the ever increasing Muslim population in the undivided India then Muslims were firmly embedded in their exclusive culture which did not encourage scrutiny including their propensity to convert Hindus If one reads India history-Moghuls, Alauddin khilji, Malik Kafur, and Finally Hyder Ali-Tipu Sultan duo domination for centuries with conversion of Hindus, including the conversion of the famous Hindu singer Pandey of Gwalior as Tansen under Akbar regime, all showing the characters of this religion, soaked with intolerance to other religions..
The Moplahs should be seen in the above context. They could do no wrong..
India failed to exchange population- Muslims in India with Hindus in Pakistan when both halves achieved independence. Greece achieved this kind of exchange-taking in Greeks in Turkey and sending Turks in Greece to Turkey, when it too became independent after WWII.
Mahatma Gandhi wanted Jinnah to be the PM of undivided India, was adamant not to make India predominantly Hindu . He even opposed the creation of Israel, which the UN approved, saying Jews do not deserve a country of their own, never had one, conveniently forgetting that the country of Moses, invaded by Romans, Ottoman Turks etc.. chased native Jews away to other countries.
The serious issue is after India became independent, when its leaders created special Muslim personal law, when our tonga walllah in Mysuru in 1950s, had 5 wives and 25 children! India had had several Muslim presidents, judges etc.. and still Muslims howl unfairness! When the then my company in 1960s applied for foreign exchange involving the hard currency release to buy machinery , it was rejected, where as the the annual Haj trip of Haj by thousands of Indian Muslims were approved without a murmur.
What should concern Indians is the attitude of their current leaders; there are the leaders in Karnataka and else where in the form of the current Indian president Kovind, who do not hesitate to praise Tipu a s a freedom fighter, a nonsense, given he and his father kept in prison, the legitimate ruler-meaning he was a thug.
Germany gave asylum to 1 million Syrian Muslim s mostly young men out of human kindness.. On arrival, they raped German women in such large numbers that they had to be charged of rape. Just Look at terrorism, where does it spring from?

  19. Sridhar says:

@Gautam – You may have earned the badge as an RSS Bhakth by Rahul’s Team! But I am so glad I learnt the truth about all the nonsense written in our history!

  20. Gautam says:

    @Sridhar
You are the ignoramus my fiends talked about. I do not live in India and not a citizen, leaving the likes of you in that cesspit.
Learn the web etiquette if you want to post something.

  21. Sridhar says:

@Gautam – Sorry you did not seem to understand what I was trying to say! Please read my comment again! I am called a Bhakth many a times for quoting the real facts as it is ! Just for your info _ I did not call you an RSS Bhakth and I am not a follower of RaGa!! For far less aggressive mail I have been called a Cheddi many a times!

  22. swamy says:

One has to be aware that Gandhi surname is dangerous and will result in assassination or getting killed somehow. Mohandas Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi and Feroz Gandhi(a mysterious death)… I would, in a beat of the heart, would change my surname if it were Gandhi.

  23. boregowda says:

The name Gandhi was meant to be an insult among kids

  24. Gurdeep says:

@Swamy, Not all Gandhis get killed!. Only if their principles or selfishness protects criminals who commit mass murders or use their power to murder helpless community and corner them! Look at Gandhi, he was always blind towards the atrocities against Hindus. If he had not been killed, who knows how many more genocides he would have supported. Thousands of people who knew Gandhi feared this, but never expressed because of his public image.
Indira Gandhi literally murdered thousands of Sikhs in her power game! Even after her death, Rajiv shielded the murders by congress workers with a big tree falling analogy! and he used Indian army to kill Indian Tamils in Srilanka .
Sanjay’s was an accident yet he used his power to murder thousands of Hindus Muslims and Sikhs to support his mother that people were happy when he died!
Firoz was a name sake Gandhi(probably the only genuine Gandhi of the Nehru family). He was a misfit to this Mafia family and an caustic critic of Nehru’s selfish ways. So, anything may have happened that we will never know!

  25. swamy says:

    @Gautam
Good explanation. Thanks. But I doubt Sanjay’s was a true accident. It was rumored as sabotage of plane, due to his high handedness in forced family planning implementation and Muslims turning away from Congress.

  26. swamy says:

Sorry, it was the reply meant for Gurdeep…
