Petrol, diesel prices hiked

Delhi: With International crude oil prices shooting upwards, the public sector oil marketing companies yesterday hiked petrol price by Rs. 1.23 a litre and that of diesel by Re. 0.89 a litre (exclusive of VAT and other local taxes). The revised rates have come into effect from Wednesday midnight.
