Mysuru: Actor and activist Prof. G.K. Govinda Rao yesterday sought to know from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fans whether Modi was God. “A few BJP men claim that they won’t tolerate criticism of Modi. Is Modi God?” he questioned at a press conference here. He said that as a citizen of the country, everyone had the right to criticise the PM.
He pointed at the dangers posed by Sangh Parivar. “This election is a matter of life and death. Liberty is at stake, lives of people are at stake, the whole democracy is at stake,” he added. He also criticised Modi for not standing with Dalits and only limiting himself into praising Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
He termed Modi’s recent statements during his campaign speeches as loose comments. “The PM has been making loose comments. He should be careful before making such comments. As a PM, he should maintain dignity of the position,” Rao said.
He also condemned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement that voters should choose between God Anjaneya and Tipu Sultan. “How can he equate God with a man?” Prof. Rao charged.
He said that Union Minister for Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde made a statement of changing the Constitution at the behest of Prime Minister’s Office. “The BJP has dual stand. The saffron party follows policies of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) theories and has adopted anti-Constitution approach,” Prof. Rao charged and termed the May 12 elections as the question of life and death of the people of Karnataka.
Criticism is no doubt a right. Unfortunately, it is an irrational fashionable garb of Buddijivis. They believe they are the uncrowned PMs to lead the nation. They want to destroy nationalism with the poisoning word ‘communal’. Bharatiyate, the capsule in which patriotism is enshrined, is
polluted with their distorted inputs. A crime nothing short of intellectual terrorism. A threat to national unity, the bane of our historical inheritance. Nation is marching towards reestablishing its damaged identity. We need to rejuvenate this awareness to combat evil.
this idiot must be kicked out of this world.
a dirty professor ! I do not who calls him a professor – a mad professor
UR Anantha Moothri’s spot is open! Trying to grab a Aguaana Peeta award by abusing Modi and please Siddu and co. A useless talentless low life trying to make some money at government expense
Very rightly said.Another UR Anantha moorthy in making. Fit to make senseless comments
Great words professor Govinda Rao..
Sonia called Modi a “Mauth kaa saudaagar” – these budiijeevies have no problem – even when Sikh genocide was masterminded by her party under the leadership of her late husband.
Rahul accuses Modi of masterminding corruption – while the mother and son duo themselves are on bail on 5000 crore corruption charges and his brothe in law has involvement in every kind of fraud in the field of land grabbing.
Siddaramiah called Modi a NARAHANTAKA in many public forums, prof Rao has no issues with that.
Mms was just a puppet pm and speaks anything that Sonia says he should say, do no need to address his comments! It is not the dignity of a PM to be a slave to a corrupt ex barmaid who was not elected as a pm! He is a disgrace to his position, education, Sikh Religion and a waste human being! His degrees have no worth if he has act as per the corrupt group. Under his regime corruption was the religion!
You corrupt buddijeevies have no issues! All your acts are just limited to hating Modi, RSS and BJP that you people highlite Tippu as a great ruler! No wonder, he killed lots of Hindus must be very impressive for you all, but we know it was an atrocity!
You people are free to critic use without going behind bars proves that Modi is democratic and you people are mentally disturbed due to hatred !
