Mysuru: Maintaining that he was satisfied with the portfolio allotted to him, Animal Husbandry Minister Venkat Rao Nadagouda has said that he would do justice to his Ministry and work to the expectations of the people.
Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Nadagouda who was on his first visit to the city after becoming a Minister in the H.D. Kumaraswamy led Congress-JD(S) coalition Government, said that he was not aware of the portfolio that he would get.
“I am satisfied with the portfolio I have got and will call a meeting of department officials to discuss ways to help the farming community,” said Nadagouda, who was elected on a JD(S) ticket from Sindhanur Assembly segment in Raichur district.
The Minister later left along with his family members to Chamundi Hill and offered prayers at Chamundeshwari temple.
