Karnataka would emerge as the first State in the entire country to bring into effect the much-needed NEP, he added.
The Minister said, since the beginning, the State was excited to implement the NEP and a high-level task force was constituted soon after the receipt of draft policy.

Final recommendation from the task force is awaited. Thereafter, the Government would go ahead with bringing changes in both administration and legal aspects. The Government was planning to share information regarding the new policy with people as well as by holding the campaign across the State.
