Mysuru: JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology of JSS College of Pharmacy, had jointly organised a two-day National seminar on ‘Current Trends in Bio-availability and Bio-equivalence Studies’ on Apr.12 and 13 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium, JSS College of Pharmacy.
Over 200 Pharmacy and Science Professionals, students and research scholars from different parts of the country took part in this event.
JSS Science and Technology University Vice-Chancellor Prof. B. G. Sangameshwara was the chief guest while JSS AHER Registrar Dr. B. Manjunatha was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest congratulated the Registrar and Principal for securing 37th rank University wise and 10th rank college wise in NIRF. He emphasised the importance of technology in medicinal and healthcare research.
Highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence and the recent progress made in the said field, he focused on various upcoming opportunities in the field of healthcare by implementing the concept of artificial intelligence in quantification of health and related attributes.
After the inauguration, plenary lectures and scientific sessions were held. Convener of the seminar Dr. G.V. Pujar welcomed. Principal of JSS College Dr. S. N. Manjula proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. B.M. Gurupadayya and Dr. K.L. Krishna were the Organising Secretaries.
