Prof. N.R. Mohan Madhyastha (83), retired Professor of Statistics and a resident of Roopanagar, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of students, relatives and friends. Last rites will be held tomorrow (Nov. 6) morning at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam after his daughter arrives from USA.

M. Puttamadappa (89), a resident of Hosabandikeri in K.R. Mohalla, passed away following brief illness on Monday in city. He leaves behind his wife Ramamma, son Guruprasad, daughter Manonmani and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.

Nagamma (84), wife of late Parasappana Rajappa and a resident of Jeemaarahalli village in the taluk, passed away yesterday at the village. She leaves behind seven children including S. Hosakote’s Sri Gurumalleshwara Biksha Mutt Head Sri Guruswamy, seven children, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Jeemaarahalli village today.

Kempashetty (59), Head Master of Kasuvinahalli Government Higher Primary School and a resident of Dodda Kaatur, passed away following brief illness this morning. He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Dodda Kaatur this evening.
