Mallappa (85), former Chairman of Kodanahalli, Varuna hobli in the taluk, passed away yesterday evening. He had also served as the President of Mysuru Taluk Ashraya Samithi. He leaves behind one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Kodanahalli his afternoon.
D. Premajyothi has been awarded Ph.D in Social Work by the Karnatak University, Dharwad, for her thesis ‘Qua-lity of Life of Women Victims of Atrocities Pre and Post Legal Recourse: A Study from Social Work Perspective’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Sangeetha R. Mane.
