Power of Full Moon

Feng Shui, the ancient Oriental Art of Space Alignment, is very powerful in harmonising the flow of natural energies. The benefits of aligning the home in accordance with the laws of Feng Shui are immense and it works both at physical and at psychological levels.

As Feng Shui is all about harmony, positivity and abundance, negative impact of Feng Shui is strongest when the problems you are experiencing are caused by poor Feng Shui design and alignment and this calls for a proper analysis and corrective measure to be put in place at the earliest.

The free flow of energy is important for a living space and the wellness of the occupants. The energy often referred to in the science of Feng Shui as ‘Chi’ is the electromagnetic energy that transports information from an object to another. Chi is the one that flows in the body, transports the thoughts, beliefs and feelings.

Poor flow of energy causes sickness, marital discord, financial issues and affects the career growth too. Hence, the primary objective would be to have the home or office to permeate beneficial Chi and this calls for proper alignment of interior decor, furniture and design. The word Chi in Feng Shui applies to the energy inside the body, as well to the energy inside and outside the buildings.

For a dwelling to be vibrant and happy, the quality of Chi one would want to have to keep the home vibrant, alive and filled with fresh Chi is known as ‘Sheng Chi’ or Vibrant and ‘Positive Chi.’ Conversely, the Chi which is negative, harmful and which causes sluggishness is ‘Sha Chi’ and this type of Chi needs to be avoided both at home or office. ‘Sha Chi’ is the attacking Chi and causes lot of disturbances.

The overwhelming imbalance of energies has a strong influence on the occupants mind and health. Although the ill-effects can be countered through Feng Shui design, decor and alignment, the impact of such negative energies gets stronger during certain periods or seasons.

Full Moon is considered as an auspicious day and a day where the energy is strong, positive and energetic. Hence, further home and personal improvements can be carried out on this special day. Feng Shui corrections apart, the occupants also need to have the right frame of mind to receive the positive energies into their homes and their lives.

When the Full Moon pours down a tremendous amount of energy, being in a calm state of mind to receive a positive effect would be beneficial.

Remember that whatever is going on in your body, mind and spirit will be amplified at that time. Hence, this day can be used to counter negative flow of energies in the building and in the minds of the occupants.

To transform inner energies and that of the place of dwelling, one can try out the following simple steps:

  • Think positive as the positive thoughts will be energised and multiplied.
  • Focus and imagine your realistic goals and write them down.
  • Avoid anger and arguments as the Full Moon is the time to stay calm, let go things and bottled up emotions.
  • Send healing energy, forgiveness & love to friends, family and to all those with whom you have had a tough time.
