Apropos to the news item MCC Style… Walk, Talk and Collect Tax in SOM dated Dec.2, we do agree that shop owners need to pay the tax on time.

We may also note that many thousands of houses in Mysuru — which are completed in construction and people residing since 2014 — are not given the CR (Completion Report), resulting in crores of rupees as tax not reaching the MCC.

If they can push this activity, MCC could get a huge amount of revenue for its development activities. Will the MCC Commissioner take this up on a war-footing? I am sure most of the citizens are willing to pay the house tax.
