Nanjegowda (96), a resident of Vinayakanagar (Paduvarahalli) passed away last night in city. He leaves behind sons Pailwan Marigejje and Krishna, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this noon, according to family sources.

Mekathanda Thimmaiah (74), a resident of Imangala village in Virajpet, passed away last evening at his daughter’s residence in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage in city. He leaves behind his wife, daughter Shilpa, son-in-law Mohan Kumar and a host of relatives and friends. Cremation took place at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam here this afternoon.
