Mysore/Mysuru: A day after Primary and Secondary Education Minister B.C. Nagesh announced that Schools (classes 1 to 10) will be allowed to open across the State, barring Bengaluru, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Bagadi Gautham has ordered re-opening of Schools from Jan.24.
In an order dated Jan.22, 2022, the Deputy Commissioner said that all Government, aided and unaided Schools that run Primary and High School classes, that were shut down recently following the outbreak of the third wave of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, can re-open from Monday for physical classes, by strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour and following all Government protocols.
What is the hurry here when Mysore has logged 4000+ cases today. Kids have now gotten adjusted to online school and let continue for couple of more weeks. Do not take unscientific decisions. As parents we are concerned about sending kids to school as the current situation is very bad. Please take wise decision. – Concerned parent
Its a bad decesion, how can children’s follow covid protocol, as elders we are not following the covid protocols, that to when Mysuru reports a 4000 cases, how can we send childrens to school? It’s better to continue online classes,
It’s not good decision to open now… another 2 weeks needed…
Cases are going so high, we don’t want to send our children to school.we are comfortable in online classes please order to continue online classes.
I request the authorities to postpone opening of schools, we are in the peak of the pandemic’s third wave. Moreover Mysore has recorded the highest number of 4601 cases in a single day!
Do these have a proper functioning brains, if yes will we ever see these so called DCs and his subordinates ever give a thought of using it diligently… Mysore Reports 4601 cases on Saturday and this man who is in charge of district announces schools to commence on 24 Jan…
My suggestion is to open full classes only for 10th standard. For high school allow only practical classes if any. For rest of the classess it better to stick to online classes
Life is important, please make on online classes for childrens
Commissioner sir please kindly postpone opening of schools it is not right at this point where the positivity is high in mysore kindly go through again regarding this sir
Mysore has recorded the highest number of cases 4,359 yesterday ( in a single day ) we are in the peak of the pandemic third wave . It has a bad decision , how can children’s follow covid protocol as elders we are not following the covid protocols , how can we send children’s to schools ? I request to continue online classes or keep the option for online classes and offline classes those are interested to send schools ( Offline class ) . Thank you
Hi,
I see some of the schools (e.g., Rainbow Public School) stopped online classes from yesterday and only having offline classes.
As per the Government protocol, Students need to get consent from the Parents to attend offline classes, but now all of a sudden they stopped online classes from yesterday and forcing (unofficially) to come to school.
Neither government providing Vaccination for below 15 yrs nor School is taking any responsibility.
With all students coming to offline classes, not sure, how they follow the covid protocol (social distancing, sanitization).
Also with increase in COVID cases in Mysore, not sure why people take hasty decision to open only offline classes.
I am sure, this would make increase in COVID cases in Mysore.
If Vaccination is done for the students then, parents would be happy and safely can send their kids to the school. I agree, offline classes are better than online classes, but considering the surge of the cases, need to take baby steps.
Thanks & Regards,
Well Wisher for the Students of Mysore
