L. Honnamma Lakkashetty (95), a resident of Kanur village near Ponnampet taluk here, passed away yesterday at her residence. A Founder-Member of Virajpet Taluk’s Madiwalara Sangha, she leaves behind five sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the burial ground in Kanur this afternoon.

K.M. Puttaswamy (86), retd. Dy. Director, Department of Economics and Statistics and a resident of Gokulam 2nd Stage here, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Gokulam crematorium yesterday.

Gowramma (68), a resident of Rampura village in Srirangapatna taluk, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru yesterday. She leaves behind brothers MLC Sandesh Nagaraj and former Mayor Sandesh Swamy, two daughters, a son, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held yesterday at Rampura.

Naliyanda Gangavva Muthappa (Cheriyapanda), wife of late N.K. Muthappa and a resident of Raghavendranagar here, passed away last night. She was 75. She leaves behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral was held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.

B.S. Nagamma (88), wife of freedom fighter H.K. Siddalinga Sastry and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away this morning. She leaves behind her son H.S. Vishwanath (retd. EE, KEB), daughter-in-law, grandchild and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Veerashaiva Burial Ground in Vidyaranyapuram here this afternoon.
