He leaves behind his wife, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at his native place Kallipura village in T.Narasipur taluk on Saturday.

Nayakanda Parvathy (Nellira), wife of late Naya-kanda Chengappa and a resident of Vijayanagar, passed away yesterday afternoon in city. She was 84. She leaves behind two sons Prakash and Dada, daughter Radha (Chemira), daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.
