Shylaja Bettegowda (75), wife of Bettegowda, a retired lecturer at Marimallappa’s College and a resident of Bannimantap, passed away this morning following brief illness. She leaves behind her husband, daughters Kokila Prasad and Roopa Vittal and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds at Bannimantap this evening.
