A resident of Naganahalli in the taluk, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Naganahalli Burial Grounds this noon.

V. Mahesh Das (51), a resident of Kanakadasanagar passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his father, brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning.

Akkamahadevi (71), a retd. teacher and a resident of Giridarshini near Alanahalli, passed away yesterday in city following illness. She leaves behind a son. Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in Vidyaranyapuram this morning.

H.K. Sudhakar (78), a retired Chief Engineer and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife C.P. Vijayakumari, son H.S. Vishwas and daughter H.S. Nivedita. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.

Sajida Bi (80), former Corporator and wife of late Abdul Hameed, passed away this morning at her residence in Gayathripuram 2nd Stage. She leaves behind five sons and two daughters. Namaz-e-Janaza will be held today at Masjid-e-Gousia in Gousianagar after Mugrib prayers (6.15 pm), followed by the burial at Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.

Jayamma (80), wife of late Narasimhaiah (owner of Kannikamba Weighing Bridge) and a resident of Gokulam, passed away in the wee hours of today. She leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill today at 4 pm.

Mukkatira B. Ponnappa (Doremani) passed away at his son’s residence in SBM Layout, Bogadi, yesterday. He was 87. A native of Kunjilageri in Parane, Kodagu, he leaves behind his son M.P. Miron Belliappa (advocate), daughter Palandira Mithuna Muthanna and a host of relatives and friends. Cremation took place at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this afternoon.

M.B. Doddegowda (72), Kannada activist and a resident of Cauvery Layout in Hootagalli, passed away yesterday following heart attack. He leaves behind his wife, son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. The body will be donated to MMC&RI today as per his last wish, according to family sources.

Sharadamma (71), wife of Mallanna and a resident of 3rd Cross, E-Block, J.P. Nagar, passed away today.
